The
X-Files: Well, it is still one of the best shows on television,
even in its seventh year - not to mention a blockbuster movie,
and a couple of video games. The official Web site has just
been redesigned and is pretty neat. Lots of info, latest news
about the show, complete episode guide, video behind-the-scenes
interviews with cast and crew... A must.
Xena: Warrior Princess:
This actually links to my little Xena link page where
you'll find info about neat Web sites dedicated to the Warrior
Princess.
Buffy
the Vampire Slayer: Official site. Very nice, up-to-date,
with pictures, detailed episode guide, trailers, etc. Choice
of enhanced or normal site. Only in English, unfortunately.
I don't get this. Why don't they have those nice official
sites translated? It's not like they don't have a huge following
in countries where the shows are only known in their dubbed
versions.
Sequel
Buzz: A neat personal page that will tell you everything
you wanted to know (and more) about all the sequels to be
released at the movies: from Hannibal and Scream 4 (what on
earth happened to the concept of Trilogy??) to Star Wars:
Episode 2 and The Matrix 2 & 3 - not to mention sequels
to stuff that haven't been released yet - such as the X-Men
2. Nice design as well. The updates are not regular, but in
all, a nice site.
The Internet Movie Database:
Yes, it's a (huge) database where you can find all sort of
info (including pics) about all sorts of films (passed and
present). Mainly English-speaking of course.
The
Simpsons: The official site has improved a lot. You'll
find all sorts of stuff here, and not only the bloody store
that wants to sell you as much Simpsons-stamped crap as it
can. The site features as well character bios and a comprehensive
episode guide. Also, check out the Simpsons
Archive to find everything you need to know about this
long running and extremely funny show - including every single
phrase that Bart has ever had to write on that chalkboard,
after school. - "Operator! Gimme the number for 911!"
- Homer Simpson.
South
Park: What can I say? "Oh, my God! They killed Kenny!
You bastards!" - Don't even try to guess if you've never
seen the show. A must. The second season was not as good as
the first one, but then came the movie, and all was forgiven.
You'll also find some great clips from the show from Shockwave's
Web site. Select Cartoons, then South Park.
Mad
About You: The show is no longer running, but is still
one of the funniest and best written sitcoms on TV. Even had
an Oscar-winning actress as one of its leads. This Finnish
site (in English) is huge and you'll find everything you need.
Star
Trek Official Web site: Very nice, very big, with tons
of info and pics, on all the films and TV shows from the franchise.
The site also keeps the traditional Star Trek design for a
more authentic experience.
